Welcome to my photography journey! It all began as a curious kid with a Brownie Box roll film camera, capturing moments around my neighborhood. My passion grew, and I upgraded to my first SLR camera, a Minolta X-500.
While working in IT, I pursued photography classes at the school for photography. After completing my studies, I took a leap of faith, quitting my job to become a freelance photographer for a local newspaper. To supplement my income, I also did product photography.
Through my experience as a news photographer and camjo, I discovered my true passion lies in event, street, and documentary photography.
In 2015, I relocated from the Netherlands to Colorado, USA, and reignited my photography spark as a hobby. I traded my bulky Nikon equipment for the sleek Fujifilm X-T2, enamored with its compact size and retro aesthetic. Later, I added the Fujifilm X-H2s, a professional hybrid camera, to my arsenal.
Now, I’m excited to venture more into the world of cinematic videography, eager to learn and explore its creative possibilities.
